The Big Mutt Network was founded in November 2019 with a mission to assist giant breed dogs in need. What began as a specialized rescue organization for large dogs has since evolved into an all-breed rescue, while still maintaining a specialization in giant breeds. The founders of our organization recognized a gap in the rescue community for these majestic and often overlooked animals, and set out to make a difference in their lives.
The early days of TBMN were rooted in Vail, Arizona, where our organization took its first steps towards fulfilling its mission. Operating initially in a local capacity, our dedicated team behind the organization works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome giant breed dogs in need. As our efforts gained traction and the demand for our services grew, the Big Mutt Network expanded its reach and began operating on a national scale.
As our organization grew, so did our impact. Our transition into an all-breed rescue has allowed us to broaden our scope and extend our assistance to a wider range of dogs in need, while still maintaining our focus on giant breeds.
Throughout our journey, the Big Mutt Network has remained steadfast in our dedication to providing a safe haven for dogs, regardless of their size or breed. Our nationwide operation have enabled us to make a meaningful impact in the lives of countless animals, connecting them with loving forever homes and giving them a second chance at happiness.
